Perfect Server ubuntu 10.04 issue

Hello. I have set up a server following this how to, and I am having an issue with a php script. I get this error when I run the script:

PHP Fatal error: call to undefined function odbc_connect

I installed the freetds and unixodbc items, but I still get the same error.
This is trying to access my MSSQL db

I am pretty weak with php so any help is great.

Changed to Spamd and Clam-av now spam getting through.

I used this to fix my server that was overloaded by Clamscan.

Now Spam is getting through. Like spamd is not scanning email.

Server load is down but spam is in. What can I do.

Has anyone actually gotten a Godaddy cert to work with imapd-ssl?

I've followed godaddy's instructions for applying the godaddy cert to courier-imap
here are their instructions:

I also tried TLS_TRUSTCERTS=/etc/ssl/private/gdca.txt as I have found instructions that state that.
I'm not sure what's wrong but I can't connect to port 993 since I moved from self-signed to CA signed.
Did I miss any other settings in imapd-ssl config?

creating www2 website

How would one setup just a www2.domain.tld website?

The user does not need DNS, EMAIL, WWW, or anything like that. He just wants to mirror his website as a www2 or something like that.

I've tried to search the forum but haven't seen much on how to change that up.

I'm assuming I can just create a normal website and use "VHOST *." and it would operate normally so long as he points his DNS for www2 to that IP?

URL Rewrite and Proxy problem

I have my web application sitting behind a proxy, so that we can hide the URL/port etc from the users.
Now I can access http://ip.address.here/app-name/ but I want http://ip.address.here/ to point to the same application (so we can hide app-name as well).

In my httpd.conf, I added the following lines:

When I try to access http://ip.address/ now I can get my log in page. But any action will throw this error:

Our old courier authentication setup used to allow domain aliases to authenticate. Is there any way to allow an aliased email address to be used as the username with ispconfig?

After a few months of crazy spam, I realized what was the cause. I had included my REAL email address on HOWTOFORGE in a post a week before spam started. Five years out the window!

From a generic main.cf found in the Debian Lenny installation, I added/modified the BOLD areas.

Secondly, I created a file named "spamtrap" in the /etc/postfix/ directory. This serves as a filter. If spam is emailed to this address and other addresses on your machine, it will drop that email so that it doesn't get to any other mailboxes.

spamtrap file looks like this:

This is regexp so the slashes have to be used. My filter email is emailcontrol@derekgordon.com so easy to figure out!!!

Side note: I did not create that email mailbox literally. It's just made up solely within that file.

HowTo change /srv/www/webxx/.htpasswd

When I try to access webalizer stats for a site I get a 401 "not authorized" error when I enter the site administrator's ID and passwort.

Apparently /srv/www/webxx/.htpasswd is not modified when I change the siteadmin or his password using ISPConfig.

Is this due to an ISPconfig error, do I have to wait until some cron has done the job or is it possible to have .htpasswd updated each time I change the siteadmin or his passwort using another method?

Help on DNS Configuration

Hello.

I would like to use ISPConfig 3 to setup my DNS server but I'm a noob in this domain and I don't know how to acheive that.

I've a dedicated server, with a fully qualified name, let call it myserver.mydomain.com with IP 85.65.12.34.

I've another domain, let call it mysite.com.

So now, how can I manage the zones of mysite.com with ISPConfig 3 using myserver.mydomain.com as primary NS ?

What I've done so far, is to change the ns1 of mysite.com to myserver.mydomain.com and the ns2 is setup with an IP of my registar.

Now I'm a bit confuse on what I've to do on ISPConfig 3.

When I click on "Add new DNS Zone [SOA]" in DNS, I'm not sure of some values.
Is this correct ?
- Zone (SOA) : mysite.com.
- NS : myserver.mydomain.com
- Email : I don't know what it is for ? It is the MX ? or a real address ?
- Allow zone transfers ... : IP of my registar for the NS2
- Also Notify : ???
- Update ACL : ???

And next, I suppose I must create some records for this zone, but which ones ? are there mandatory records ?

Wrong email headers causing my emails to be blocked as spam?

Hi,

Emails sent from my server are being blocked as spam, I'm worried that this is due to not having the right headers. Below are the headers from a blocked email. I am using postfix to send email, my site is mywebsite.com and the name of the machine hosting my site is server123.onlinehome-server.com. I would really appreciate any help with this!
