Howtos

If you have written a tutorial and would like to share it with others, you can publish it on HowtoForge.

If you write a tutorial that gets published on HowtoForge, you will receive a one year free HowtoForge subscription!

To add your howto to HowtoForge, please register here and start publishing your content instantly.

If you have already registered, you can log in here: Login

To publish your tutorial, go to Contribute > Create Content. If you want your tutorial to go on multiple pages (because it's too long for just a single page), select book page, otherwise story. Alternatively, you can zip your tutorial and email the zip file to ft@falkotimme.com (this is the preferred method if your tutorial contains images; please include your HowtoForge user name in the email so that we can publish the tutorial under your name).

Please make sure that your contribution does not violate any copyrights. You must either be the author of the material or have the original author's consent to publish it on HowtoForge.

Please don't submit incomplete tutorials - we can publish only finished tutorials.

It can take a few days until we publish your tutorial, so please be patient. But if it's useful, we will publish it. :)
